The climate emergency is rapidly becoming a catastrophic predicament of cascading disasters. Ask California.
The technologies that would save us – big wind, big sun, big battery, are making a strong show of reducing electric prices over time while displacing Earth killing fossil fuels. If that happens slowly we are doomed. If it happens fast, then we’ll be driving Teslas.
The accelerator for the transition is a bipartisan landmark bill that would charge fossil fuel companies a tax for their carbon dioxide emissions. The tax proceeds are returned to American families through monthly Carbon Dividends to spend as they wish.
So, if you think we should take care of God’s Creation, Mother Earth, our only home, ask your senators and your congressman to support HR7173 The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act.
If you would just like a few hundred dollars extra each month to spend as you wish, well that’s a good reason, too.
