Two young men were killed in a car accident at 4:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22. An Arkansas State Police report said the car, a 2004 Hyandai carrying six people, hit trees on County Road 219 near Grandview. The road was wet at the time.
Killed were Kyle Daugherty, a sophomore at Eureka Springs High School, and George “Buddy” Milawski of Fayetteville. Milawski had spent his freshman year at ESHS.
A vigil is planned for 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Eureka Springs High School.
