Blending modern electronica with old fashioned funk, Cadillac Jackson wants to make people dance. In 2010 this group of guys waiting tables at T.G.I. Friday’s in Fayetteville decided to hit the road with a hip-hop sound that is syncopated, has catchy lyrics, and is interspersed with serious guitar shredding. Years later and they have played every venue and festival around, produced two albums, and know how to make a crowd happy. Hear them at Chelsea’s on Friday at 9:30 p.m.
The Jettway Performance Mid-South Summer Tour is making a stop at the Aud Friday night at 7:30 with students of all ages performing anything from rock to country to jazz.
