Editor,

In 1967 because I was trained as a helicopter technician and door gunner, the Army asked me to volunteer to serve a year in Vietnam. After thinking about my uncles who served in WW 2, I agreed to go.

I left there at the end of 1968 and returned to a hostile reception because I had served my country. I left a portion of my peace of mind forever and my friend’s entire body there.

Walmart asks you to wear a mask to protect your fellow citizens and even though you can still show up in your pajamas and leave your teeth and bra at home you pitch a fit and claim your rights are being violated.

Come on folks.
