There’ll be A Ferocious Jungle Cat in town Saturday, and we’re not talking about the majestic beasts at Turpentine Creek, but a band from Lincoln, Neb., that calls their music “Nebraskan Thunderfolk.” A six piece that includes some great horns, the band released a self-titled full length album in 2015 that wows with unexpected rhythms and melodies building like thunder in the distance.
