Brews is hosting a night of music on Saturday starting with Dominic Bryan Roy, singer/songwriter from Wisconsin. He plays guitar, ukulele and harmonica, and can bring one to tears with his best instrument, his voice. Eureka Music Revival, local Rockabilly duo, will close the show with their lively Ozarkan music.
The middle act of the night will be Laith, a young Indie/Post-Rock band from Jonesboro. Their debut release “Endless” from December 2017, is a collection of three songs that combine the pure and genuine voice of Chenoa Summers with vocalist/guitarist Trevor Scudder. This sweet harmony is backed up by the polyrhythmic crew of Jeremy Jackson on bass, Austin Tuberville on syn/keys and Alex Washam the drummer/screamer. The combination of the music, the heartbreakingly sweet sound of Summers harmonies and the heavy vocals of Alex are reminiscent of Emo band Sleeping with Sirens. Invited to join the show by EMR, this is a new sound for Eureka that will introduce a sub-genre of music that many may have never heard. The show starts at 7 p.m.
