April brought a lot of rain and an EF1 tornado that blew through the areas of Wolf Ridge, Elk Ranch, Inspiration Point and Holiday Island in the early morning of April 26. The tornado brought down trees and power lines and wet conditions made it difficult for Carroll Electric crews to restore power. The Holiday Island golf course was forced to close for cleanup.
