Month 4 of 2022 is shaping up well and it’s only the first couple of days. Spring Diversity Weekend is this Friday and Saturday and I plan to be at the events in Basin Park. Leon, though he doesn’t know it yet, is most excited for the Bubble Disco Dance with DJ Testube from 10 a.m. – noon. He’s going to go ballistic (in a good way) to all the bubble machines and he loves to dance. For the first time in several years we get to have PDA in the Park at 12:30! Be there at noon though to hear guest speaker Laura Bell Phillips. There’ll be tons of other events around town, just look down below I’ve tried to include each one. Don’t forget about Coco Peru on Saturday evening at the Aud. Opens 7:30 and show is 8:30 p.m. and tickets are at theaud.org or at the door. ~j
