When Suzanne and I acquired healthcare coverage through ACA it had been years since we could afford it. In fact no commercial insurer would even write a policy for Suzanne because of her borderline bipolar. She was enrolled in traditional Medicaid and was able to see a psychiatrist for the first time since she was diagnosed in the early seventies. We are both on Medicare now but know how much the ACA means to our citizens’ peace of mind.
