The Fire Department of Holiday Island is sponsoring an AARP Driver Safety program on August 25. The four-hour classroom course is the nation’s first curriculum designed for drivers aged 50 and over. The class will be held at the fire department classroom at 105 Holiday Island and sign-in begins at 8 a.m. and class begins at 8:30 a.m.
All materials are included in the class fee of $15 and $20 for non-members. In addition to important safety tips, upon completion of the course you will be eligible for a multi-year automobile insurance discount. To register for the class call R.E. Collins at (479) 253-0909.
