Another birthday for the country, a more somber one considering the events of the past week at least in my mind. Eureka Springs is also celebrating another year on the map and so is the Indy! Since I’ve already referenced politics, I’m going to do so some more, but something local. I strongly support the CAPC assisting the Parks department in the restoration in Basin Park. The issues there are massive and the cost to the Parks are beyond its budget. It is in the CAPC’s best interest both for the promotion for the town and as a heavily used venue for events to assist in its upkeep. That’s it. That’s all I got this week. Happy Fourth of July to you all. Hope you all get to blow up a lot of fireworks. Don’t set anything on fire that shouldn’t be. ~j
