Deputies from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded over the weekend to a report of a body in a ditch on U.S. Hwy. 62 near the Kings River bridge, where they found the remains of Janea Bradley, 49, of Berryville.
There was no evidence of foul play, but CCSO Maj. Jerry Williams said that because of the unusual circumstances an autopsy would be performed. The case will remain under investigation while CCSO awaits those results.
