A 3:15 p.m. Sept. 11 accident on US 62 West left a Galesburg, Ill., woman dead according to Arkansas State Police. Kathy Murfin, 64, was killed when a 2015 Harley Davidson she was riding passenger on failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road and down an embankment. Steve Murfin, 73, also of Galesburg, was injured, and flown by helicopter to Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Mo.
