Last Saturday, May 18, a shooting at Auto Zone on W. Trimble in Berryville left a woman dead. Police were notified of the shooting at 1:30 p.m. according to a press release.
Police Chief Robert Bartos identified the deceased as Izamar Maryeli Paz of Berryville who died of a gunshot would at Mercy Hospital – Berryville.
Bartos has not released the identity of the shooter but did say the two parties were acquainted with each other and both had firearms.
