Leap Day is coming up Thursday, a four year event that really feels like it should have a special day of the week made just for it. Luckily my kids aren’t old enough that I need to explain something I only vaguely understand the meaning behind. Much like the “Algorithm” and Rayleigh scattering. On things I do understand, Take Two on Los Roscoes this week. They got sick last week but hopefully we’ll get to jam out on the Leap Day. Means we can skip to the second beer, right? Gary Lawrence is also at Hotboxx on Wednesday, so plan your evening out the moment you get the newspaper. Pizza, wings, and music are a combo that shouldn’t be passed up. Whiskey Menders also makes a return to town at the Gravel Bar on Friday if you seek a soulful voice that hits the same way the first sigh after a stiff drink does.
