Just read in our paper that Mike Welch cannot serve on our city council because of a 50-year-old conviction for pot.
Come on, Eureka council, this is obsolete and petty to do such a ridiculous thing!
Stand up for your rights, Eureka! Call the mayor and put Mike back in. We have a president who has 34 felony convictions! What’s right and wrong here?
Also, Trump was pressuring Canada to strengthen their border. Well, Canada agreed and now they won’t allow any convicted felons into their country. Food for thought.
