Weekend for Music

338

Super Bowl is over. That’s about all I got about it. Beyond the Bowl we’ve got Valentine’s Week with specials at restaurants around town, and don’t forget to purchase flowers for your beloved one! I’m aiming for a delicious homemade dinner, thinking steak even if I can’t have it. Ange and the kids certainly can. Of what I can have though is some great music! Friday is healthily stacked with We Dunno Jam and Alyssa Galvan at Chelsea’s and Gravel Bar respectively. Have I gushed about Alyssa Galvan’s music enough? Probably. We Dunno Jam Band is made of favorites as well including The Squirrels, Dylan Hawf, and Joe Bon Marche. $5 cover there so have a bit o’ cash on hand. Course you know that if you’re going to Corner Bar. At Chelsea’s Saturday night is the always amazing Chucky Waggs & The Company of Raggs coming in to make a stomp worthy racket. Anyone willing to watch the kiddos so Ange and I can go? Until next week, folks…    ~ j
