I had the privilege and pleasure of helping 13 Eureka Springs High School seniors register to vote Friday morning. If you will be 18 on or before Nov. 6, you can register now and vote in the midterm election.
Early voting for party primaries begins May 7 in the County Clerk’s office at Berryville or Eureka Springs courthouses.
Arkansas has an open primary which means that whatever your party affiliation, you may vote in either the Republican or Democratic primary, but not both. If you prefer to vote on primary day, May 22, you will need to know your polling place.
This and links to the ballots can be found at www.voterview.ar-nova.org. The new voting machines are here and there is one set up to try out at the Berryville County Clerk’s office.
Only vote if you prefer democracy.
