Carroll County Sheriff Jim Ross announced Monday a change in procedures for visitation at the Detention Center. Detainee visitations and clergy visits will be suspended at least through the end of March. The suspension took effect Monday. Attorney-client interviews and other essential visits will not be affected. The notice emphasizes “the health of our staff, inmates, and community.”
