Vicki Ruth Williams Helt was born August 1, 1943, to Howard and Ruth Williams in Casper, Wyo. Vicki passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021.
For the majority of her youth and early adulthood, Vicki resided in Chicago, Ill. Her first love was ballet as she loved to dance. She attended nursing school at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Hospital. Vicki served countless patients and their families throughout her 40-year career by providing comfort and healing to everyone she met. She loved everyone she met, and her smile was contagious.
Vicki moved to the Ozarks in 1979 and lived in the Hogscald area for over 30 years serving our community as the head of nursing at the Berryville Hospital and finishing her career working with hospice patients in Eureka Springs.
Vicki enjoyed her friends and family and was always ready to go. Whether it be a family get-together, soccer game, on -stage performance, or the next adventure – she lived every moment!
Vicki is survived by her son Sean McCanless and wife ,Audrey; daughter Heather Hyatt and husband Brent; daughter Kyla Price and husband, Scott; grandchildren Jessica Pacheco, Andy McCanless, Jerry Schoe, Samantha Leclair and Parker Price; six great grandchildren; siblings Kent Williams, Kim Williams and Debbie Williams; and a host of other friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Helt; parents Howard and Ruth Williams; brother Lynn Williams.
