We thank all the people who made the 4th of July Parade possible!

People behind the scenes: Post 9 American Legion, Debbie Klein, Debbi Clark, Steve “Yip” Vorebeck and ESPD Officer Steffen. Thanks to all of you wonderful people, locals and tourists who came out and participated or watched the parade in spite of the weather!

Winners: Apple Pie Queen Laura Sanchez and runners-up Gina Rose Galina and Cierra Leatherwood. Mr. Firecracker James Roberts and runners-up Mark “Sparky” Wetzel, John House, Melvin Moore and Tim Holm.

Best Dressed Dogs, Large: 1st place – James Wicker with Goo, 2nd Place – Crystal Ursin with Tristan, 3rd Place – Lorrie Lindeman with Toby. Small: 1st Place – Garrett Brown with Goo, 2nd Place – Elizabeth Wicker with her two doggies, 3rd Place – Doc Contreras with Remy

Apple Pie Contest: Cecelia Clegorn, Emma Samac, Crystal Ursin and Sarah Jett

Decorated Bike Contest: The children of Emily Rose Foster won the bikes donated by Arvest and Cornerstone Banks. The Hot Dog eating contest, sponsored by Eureka Live and the Sidewalk Café, was a success and all seatings were won by tourists!

Peas in a Pod donated the watermelon served after the parade.

Thank you all for making this possible. We will be back next year, in the meantime, see you at the Veterans Day Parade!
