Holly Williams, 44, who wandered away from her sister’s home near Black Bass Lake at 10 a.m. Tuesday was found at a friend’s house on Ridgeway in Eureka Springs at 2:18 a.m. Wednesday. She is safe and sound.
Carroll County Sheriff’s Office called Eureka Springs Police at 2 a.m. saying they had information from Ms. Williams’s sister that she could be at the residence on Ridgeway. Officer Shannon Hill confirmed that Holly was there and ok.
Those who participated in the search included Eureka Springs Fire/EMS, Carroll County SORT, Tri-County Search and Rescue, Benton County Search and Rescue, ESPD, CCSO and Arkansas State Forestry. People on the ES Parks Commission provided a key to the old high school gym and set up tables for searchers. Bunch’s and Pizza Hut provided pizza for the crews.
