It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas John McHattie announce his passing on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at age 79.
After courageously battling Peritoneal Mesothelioma, Tom passed peacefully at home with his best friend and wife of 16 years, Sarah, by his side.
Originally from Regina, Canada, Tom moved permanently to Eureka Springs in 2019, having lived and worked as an obstetrician in the US, New Zealand, Australia, Caribbean and the Northern Marianas.
Tom will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by Sarah, his nine children and stepchildren, nine grandchildren and great-grandson, his brother and sister-in-law and nephews, as well as numerous relatives and friends from both hemispheres. Tom is predeceased by his parents Clifford and Crystal (better known as Tip & Grace).
At Tom’s request, private cremation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
