Abbey, I just read your article about Mud Street Café [Nov. 19 ESI] and I am just blown away. I read a lot of articles and any press about Arkansas PBS, and your writing style, personality, and tone were just top notch.
You somehow read into the exact feelings and vibe of this series, and quite frankly, left me a little teary-eyed. You had more in there than I would think of myself – and now I want pancakes.
Thank you for sharing your personal experiences with your Mom – they gave me that feeling of community in Arkansas towns which is such a treasure and important to share.
