The Soul Machine Brings the Blues

616

In celebration of Bikes, Blues and BBQ, the Cathouse Lounge has booked The Norman Jackson Band, a genuine blues foursome that was ranked third in the world at the 2016 International Blues Challenge. Led by Norman himself, a.k.a. “The Soul Machine,” they describe themselves as groove-inducing and love-producing. Jackson developed a love for the blues at a young age, playing the guitar upside down due to a dominant left hand. Rick Shortt, a brilliant saxophone player who began apprenticing with Jackson at age 12, adds soul and depth.. .and some wild moves. You can hear these real blues at the Cathouse Lounge Beer Garden on Friday at 6 p.m.
