Terence James Earley July 4, 1942 – April 4, 2022

228

Terence James Earley, formerly of Holiday Island, Ark., was called home to be with the Lord on April 4.

He is survived by his daughter, Michele Earley of Encino, Calif.; daughter, Jennifer Heckart and husband, Jeff of Frisco, Texas; son, Justin Earley of Adamstown, Md.; grandchildren, Erick Beaulac, Samantha and Katelyn Heckart, and Jackson and Finnegan Earley; sister, Kathleen Bischoff; and brother, James Earley.

Terry left Canada in 1960 to come to the United State in hopes of becoming a U.S. citizen and serving this country in the military. He enlisted in the United States Army and served for six years, 1960-1966, during the Vietnam Era on the DMZ line in Korea. He was later stationed in Germany. It was during this time that he proudly became a United States citizen.

Terry found his passion in residential home building, starting in construction and becoming and award-winning Top Manager for one of the largest builders on the East Coast. Upon retiring he moved to Holiday Island, Ark., to be near friends and family, where he designed and built a beautiful home on a mountaintop in the Ozark Mountains with a view all the way to Missouri.

Besides loving to dance Terry loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle. After a health scare, he moved to Frisco, Texas, to be near his daughter Jennifer, husband, Jeff, and adoring granddaughters Samantha and Katie.

He will always be remembered for his love of life and his willingness to help anyone in need.

A Mass will be held 11a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022, at St. Gabriel Church in McKinney, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at stgabriel.org/funerals-online. To convey condolences or to sign an online registry, please visit TJMfuneral.com.
