Editor,
I thank the City Council for abandoning the lease agreement for meetings’ space at the Community Center of Commerce. Through research, education and knowledge we are able to avoid a potentially disastrous financial connection to yet another private organization wanting to use public funds and tools for their benefit. Kudos for seeing through the fog and misinformation and voting to protect Eureka Springs and the citizens from another special interest.
