On December 15, 2023, Sheila Argue, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to so many, passed away from health complications at age 80.
Sheila was born in French Camp, Calif., on July 20, 1943, and raised by Raymond and Leona Quigley of Tracy, Calif.
Sheila married her high school sweetheart, Edward Krohn of Tracy, and later married Morris Argue, also of Tracy. Sheila was a 1961 graduate of Tracy High School and attended Modesto Junior College.
She moved from Tracy to Penn Valley, Calif., in 1985 and lived there for 36 years before moving back to Tracy. While living in Penn Valley, she worked at the local supermarket chain, SPD, performing accounting for most of her 36 years living there. She retired from SPD but never left her memories and friends.
After retiring she lived with her daughter while reconnecting with old friends, gardening, shopping, and enjoying life to her fullest. She enjoyed crochet, crafting, judging the Chili Cook Off during the Penn Valley Rodeo, and being involved where she was needed. She was always available to help others.
Sheila is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Krohn (Lupe Valdez), Becky Kirby, and Denise Tonner (Tom); grandchildren Marc Valdez, Laura Tonner, Scott Tonner, Kristin Kirby, Keith Kirby; and great-grandchildren Claire, Conner, and Cooper.
She is preceded in death by daughter Cindy Krohn Priola, and husband, Morris Argue.
