A clogged sewer line was responsible a 200-gallon overflow at Little Lake Eureka on Nov. 14, according to Public Works Director Simon Wiley. “It was rags and grease that clogged the pipes, not a broken line,” Wiley said. “The leak was around a manhole in a sewer line in a ravine. We got P&P Plumbing to bring their jetter trailer out because the hose the city has just wasn’t long enough long enough.”
The overflow occurred in a ravine between Drennon Dr. and College St. and affected Little Lake Eureka. It was reported at 12:15 p.m. Friday and flowing normally by 2:17 p.m.
A sewer jetter is a non-invasive, high-pressure, flexible hose cleaning machine that blasts water through pipes to clear serious blockages.
The root of the problem, Wiley said, is what people flush down toilets other than what toilets were designed to handle. This incident, the second in a month, was reported to the Arkansas Division of Environmental Quality.

Someone deserves a citation and public report.
You outta track that grease and those rags down to their rightful owner(s) and give them back their TRASH and FINE them for the clog.
