The George Brothers sold the Ozark Mountain Hoedown to take their dream on the road, touring the South with the Texas Outlaw Country sound that is passionate. They are doing well runnin’ down that dream, with Dawayne George named Arkansas Guitarist of the Year at the inaugural Arkansas Country Music Awards on June 4, and brother Randall nominated as Bassist of the Year. The brothers George will be at the Holiday Island Amp in Memorial Park on Saturday, paying tribute to the late, great Tom Petty. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the iconic rock ‘n roll of Tom Petty performed by Eureka’s own talent. The George Brothers go on at 8 p.m., local singer/songwriter Lee Mitchell will open the show at 7 p.m.
