Phyllis Brantlee (Watson) Hoffmeyer-Henry of Holiday Island was born Dec. 2, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Hayward and Phyllis (Hetherington) Watson. Phyllis passed away May 2, 2022, in Bentonville at age 75.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caring nurse. Phyllis was very handy when it came to remodeling and would jump in and help with any project. She was very artistic, and her hobbies included buying, repairing, refinishing, and reupholstering furniture, then reselling it.
May 17, 1990, Phyllis was united in marriage to Henderson Calloway Henry III who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her daughter Gretchen (Hoffmeyer) Mansfield and husband Karl; grandchildren Kaleb, Joshua, Brigette, Heidi; four great-grandchildren; sisters Beverley Groscost and husband Lee, Cathy Bathgate and husband Ken; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Hayward and Phyllis Watson, daughter Kristin Hoffmeyer and two infant babies. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
