Concerns with the residency requirement of unopposed city council candidate Autumn Slane revealed that it appears she does not currently reside in the ward where she is running, but outside city limits in an RV.
In an effort to prove adherence to Arkansas State Election Code 7-5-201, Slane shared an image of her driver’s license address which is in Ward 1. She also provided her signed affidavit of eligibility, stamped by the county clerk’s office on August 3, in which she affirms the accuracy of her stated address at 104 Jay Ln.
We requested copies of utility bills in Slane’s name, and she responded, “I have a lease but utilities are covered under the rent so I don’t have a bill to give you.”
“My husband and I have multiple properties. 104 Jay Lane is my home. We [have] a travel trailer that we visit when we are in high volume times at the restaurants as to respect the elders that we reside with. Covid has put us all at risk but we have been trying to mitigate the spread.”
Why even write this up? I know it’s just Eurekans being Eurekans but how is you failed to name the shit stirrer?

Concerns are not proof. Concerns don’t reveal anything but the thought process of someone who seeks to stir up some nonexistent crap.

I am sitting here amused at how terrified someone must be that Mrs Slane will be sitting at council table.
