Open hearts and open wallets is how this community works

Bill Harris was diagnosed with throat cancer a few months ago and has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for the past six weeks. We are both soon-to-be 78 years old. He had been working at Sunfest Market in Holiday Island part-time for the past 11 years.

About halfway through the treatments, he was no longer able to work. We depended upon that income to supplement our Social Security, which did not cover our expenses. I also had a part-time job as a pharmacy tech at Fred’s. I had been there for over 7 years, but am no longer able to work while taking care of Bill and getting him to appointments.

Bill is very concerned about our house payments and the daily expenses associated with living. We feel that he will be better able to heal if he does not have this weighing on his mind. This is why we’re asking for your help at this time. We are very grateful for anything you can do to help us out. Bill looks forward to seeing everyone when he is well!

If you go to Go Fund Me and type in his name we will get whatever you pledge. We thank you so much and don’t know what else to say.
