Oh Play Me Some Mountain Music

728

Eureka Springs will be filled with music this weekend! The Ozark Mountain Music Festival is happening at Basin Park Hotel Thursday through Sunday, including an open jam on Thursday offering free admission to anyone with an instrument. If you can’t make it Thursday there are official after-hours jams at Chelsea’s on Friday and Saturday nights.

For those who would enjoy a more intimate setting, Candy Lee will bring her folky jazz acoustics to Brews on Friday. A transplant from Florida, Lee has a distinct sound that earned her a place as finalist in the “Songs of Arkansas” competition with her original Here in Arkansas, a song that will remind you just why you love living here. Her talent and songwriting encourages tapping toes and bobbing heads, and not just to stay warm. As a bonus, the walls at Brews are always adorned with outstanding local art. Show starts at 7 p.m. on Friday.
