The Holiday Island Suburban Improvement District Board met Monday evening to accept nominations for two commissioner positions. Currently the positions are held by David Makidon and Chair Linda Graves who are not pursuing reëlection.
The following are the nominees for commissioner as they will appear on the ballot: David Orr – 14 Thunderbird Dr.; Barbara Talbot – 9 Horseshoe Bend; Michael Thomas – 9 Bandy Drive; Dr. Ken Brown – 7 Cypress Point.
Holiday Island Hospitality Association will host a Public Candidate Forum in the Clubhouse Ballroom on Monday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day) at 6 p.m. The election is Dec. 4.
