Margaret Eva Gordon-Locke of Green Forest, Ark., was born in Connor, Ark., to John and Mollie (Sims) Deweese on Nov. 5, 1928. Margaret passed away in Springdale, Ark., at age 94.
She was a member of Harvest Assembly in Oak Grove. Margaret enjoyed embroidery, quilts, gardening and mowing the yard.
Margaret is survived by her children Johnny Gordon and wife, Linda, of Green Forest, Tony Gordon and wife, Lana, of Eureka Springs, Richard Gordon and wife, Lesa, of Alpena, Linda Skinner and husband, David, of Springdale, and Lisa Krumwiede and husband, Ken, of Centerton; grandchildren Timmy Gordon and wife, Lucy, Kimberly Gordon, Regina Barnes and husband, Wayne, Mark Gordon and wife, Dustina, Amanda Cousins and husband, Clinton, Chris Turner and wife. Michelle; grandchildren Stacie Turner, Melinda Ball and husband, Ben, Jeremy Krumwiede and wife, Christy, Chad Krumwiede and wife, Courtney; 20 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; along with a host of other family members and friends.
She is preceded by her parents John and Mollie Deweese; husband William Gordon, Wesley Locke; brother Ernest Deweese; sister Carmie Easter.
Funeral service was Nov. 21, 2022, at the Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Bro. Todd Rogers officiating. Interment followed at Rule Cemetery.
