Louis D. Maiella of Holiday Island was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Frank and Annette (Scaturro) Maiella. Louis passed away Nov. 21, 2022, in Holiday Island at age 75.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Third Order Franciscan.
On July 17, 1971, Louis was united in marriage to Linda Maiella who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his children Daniel Maiella of Ogden, Utah, Peter Maiella and wife, Alicia, of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Michael Maiella of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Mary Maiella and Rowan Scheunemann; brothers James Maiella and wife, Lee, of Port Jefferson, N.Y., Frank Maiella of Oakdale, N.Y.; sister Lucille Maiella of Oakdale, N.Y.; along with other family members and friends.
He is preceded by his parents Frank and Annette Maiella, and daughter, Mary Maiella.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, with Fr. David Bavnach officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
