Linsey Calin Williams of Berryville, Ark., was born Dec. 30, 1989 in Berryville to Jody Williams and Kim Birchfield. Linsey departed this life on Jan. 8, 2021 in Berryville at age 31.
Linsey is survived by her son, Payton Ray Harris; father, Jody Williams of Berryville, Ark.; mother, Kim Birchfield of Eureka Springs, Ark.; sister Marykate Robbins, and husband Spencer, of Alexander, Ark.; grandparents Cecil R. (Pete) and Nina (Evans) Birchfield, of Eureka Springs, Ark.; two nieces, Madison and Raegan Robbins, and one nephew, Mason Robbins, of Alexander, Ark.s; several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mary Ellen Williams, Melvin and Carolyn Williams, maternal great-grandparents, Henry B. and Luella Mae (Skelton) Evans; and William Newton and Augusta Lena Mae (Glocksien) Birchfield and uncle Marty Goforth. Linsey was a descendant of Wilson A. (Squire) Beaver, founder of Beaver, Arkansas.
Linsey loved her son, Payton, dearly. She doted on her nieces and nephew, who will miss their “Uncle Linsey” tremendously.
Linsey was excellent at arts and crafts. She loved to crochet. She loved going to the river and fishing with her dad. Anyone who knew Linsey knew she loved tacos and taking naps.
Linsey had an infectious laugh as well as a kind and loving heart. As a little girl, she loved riding Old Dazzy at Memaw and Pepaw’s house. As a teenager she enjoyed volunteering her time at the Mercy Hospital in Berryville.
In high school, her favorite subject was AGRI and her favorite teacher was Mr. Brooks. At age 16, she was Junior Miss Berryville. She was an assistant dental hygienist, an occupation she loved, and most recently, worked at Tyson’s in Berryville.
Funeral service was Jan. 15 at the Kings River Church with Randy Williams officiating. Interment followed at the High Cemetery.
