As much as we appreciated your clever letter to the editor, and knowing you don’t have a phone and we don’t have a stamp, this is the only way to reach you.
Your letter was spot on; you included your name and address, and we appreciate that. But we have told many great letter writers that we just won’t print requested anonymous letters or letters with counterfeit names.
We stick to that policy knowing full well that we are easily fooled.
We also appreciate your time, effort, and imagination. Your word “refulgent” made us use our dictionary. It was effulgent.
