May Festival of the Arts has begun and every weekend in the month is packed full of things to do. Mother’s Day is this upcoming Sunday and the Bridge of Love over Main Street will be installed on Thursday through Sunday. You can contribute by attaching flowers and a note of love to the women in your life if you see fit, or just go to enjoy the display. Downtown is busy Saturday with the ARTrageous Parade down Spring from 2 – 3 p.m. then Saturday Night Gallery Strolls are back from 5 – 8 p.m. Not sure which galleries I’ll be visiting but I know for the parade the kids and I will be stationed near Mojo Records. It’s become one of our favorite spots. Not too busy but not too empty. Just right. Until next week… ~j
