Bryan King trounced Bob Ballinger in the Carroll County Republican run-off for State Senate District 28, 1629 to 763. King will face Democrat Jim Wallace in November.
In the Carroll County Judge’s race, David Writer got the nod to run against Democrat James “Rusty” Rusterholz, Jr. Writer garnered 1,360 votes to Bud Phillips’s 1,015.
