Keli Carter, 50, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. Born on June 27, 1975, in Van Wert, Ohio, Keli lived a life full of love, laughter, and service to others.
Keli had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found her greatest joy near the water—whether at the lake or by the river, she felt most at peace surrounded by nature. She brought that same warmth and presence to those around her, always giving of herself with kindness and sincerity.
In her earlier years, Keli devoted her time as a volunteer at her children’s soccer games, cheering from the sidelines and helping wherever she was needed. Her quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering support were a constant source of love and encouragement to her family and friends.
Keli is survived by her loving husband, Ken Carter, her children, Wade Carter and his wife, Hannah, Colton Carter and his fiancée, Sydney, and Alyssa Carter. She also leaves behind her sister Jennifer Furniss; stepbrothers Todd and Jay Furniss; her mother Barbara Furniss and father, Ron Stewartson; and her in-laws Roger and Mary Carter.
Keli was a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews and a cherished friend to many.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her genuine spirit, her love of nature, and the care she showed to everyone lucky enough to know her.
