Jonathan Seaman was born Feb. 2, 1945, in upstate New York. At about 11 years old, he fell from a tree and broke several bones and was in a cast for several months.
His family moved to Evanston, Illinois, when Jon was young, and his father was a professor at Northwestern University. Jon went to New Trier High School in Winnetka with Ann-Margret Olsson, known famously as Ann-Margret.
In 1997 or thereabouts, Jon moved to Eureka Springs where he started Ozarkana Music, and with Roger Johnson formed Street Corner Blues – Coalition.
Jon lent a helping hand to many musicians in the area, including Mountain Sprout, The Camptown Ladies, Blue Moon, and Star Seed.
He personally helped me with my drums, my car, and my wardrobe.
He will be missed!
