James Richard Moesch, 63, of Golden, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
He was born May 21, 1954 in San Diego, Calif., the son of James Richard and Leona (Dobson) Evans, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him was a brother, Earl Dwayne Moesch.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty Jean Scates and her husband, Shawn, of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Della May White and her husband, Gene, of Harrison, Ark.; three brothers, Jan Carter Moesch and William Ezra Moesch, both of Golden, Mo., and Leonard Olin Evans and his wife, Shelly, of Iowa; three sisters, Rosezella Carter and husband, Timmie, of Eagle Rock, Mo., Beverly Darlene Tray of Golden, Mo., and Gloria Jean Arseneau and husband, Rick, of Illinois; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
James grew up and received his education in Joliet, Ill. Upon moving to Eureka Springs, Ark., he worked at Clark’s Market and then on a garbage truck. For several years he was employed at Tyson’s, from which he retired.
In 1975 he moved to Golden to make his home. Some of his favorite pastimes were canoeing, fishing and spending time with his family.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
