James (Jim) T. Wilson, Jr., 75, of Eureka Springs passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born July 13, 1943 in West Plains, Mo., to James T. Wilson, Sr., and Thelma Martin Wilson.
Jim served in the United States Army Dental Corps retiring with the rank of Lt. Col. in 1994. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman; he was often able to choose assignments that particularly suited him and his family’s outdoor hobbies. Jim trained and hunted over a fine strain of pointer bird dogs and retrieving Labs. He was most recognizable driving a green Ford pickup truck with a custom dog box on the bed.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Nonnie Sanders Wilson, of the home; one son Tyler Wilson and wife, Mari, of Arizona; one brother Mark Wilson and wife, Mako, of New Mexico, one grandson James Wilson of Fayetteville, one niece Cecelia; one great-niece. Also, many cousins other family members and friends.
