Oktoberfest beers are here and I’m all for it! I have been enjoying several so far and this week I’ll get to add Gotahold Brewing’s Oktoberfest to the list. Even if it’s incredibly warm most days you can feel that Fall is coming and I am ready for it. This week is looking to start a chain of crazy busy weekends (as if Labor Day Weekend wasn’t) with Antique Autos in town from Sept. 8 – 10. Parade is at 11 a.m. if you are seeking it out on Saturday. We also have the Gallery Stroll Saturday evening. Visit your favorite paintsmith and other smiths on Main and Spring Sts., have a snack, a drink, and immerse yourself in their worlds. For music we have Whiskey Menders at New Delhi Café on Saturday and Sunday, which I am excited to hear once more. Gravel Bar also has a fantastic lineup with Gullywasher coming up on Saturday and Bryan Copeland back again on Sunday evening. Keep an eye for the cooler weather sneaking up on us next week and, of course, Jeep Jam! I’ll have information for you on that! Until the next week my computer cooperates… ~J
