It’s about honesty

My opponent uses big money, secret, dark-money scam groups to mislead people because he wants to divert attention from who he really is. His story keeps changing every time the facts come out.

He claimed to be in good standing with the contractors’ board. But public records show his license expired last March, and the state board confirmed he is not legally allowed to do work. That’s not a nitpick, it’s about compliance with the law.

He claimed to be a chicken farmer. First, he told the media he had poultry houses. Then, under scrutiny, his own financial disclosure says he has pastured chickens, and he still won’t say who he grows for.

I’ve been a contract grower for 34 years and a lifelong cattle rancher. I know what real farming looks like, and this isn’t about agriculture; it’s about honesty.

He claimed to know nothing about the dark money attacks, yet his own campaign validated them. Here’s the problem: when he’s caught, he doesn’t tell the truth. He doubles down and deflects. That is not the character we need in a public servant.

This race is about honesty, transparency, and following the law. Every time Bobby Ballinger, Jr., is questioned, his story changes. The people of District 28 deserve the truth, not a politician who twists it when he’s cornered.
