Editor,
I want my members of Congress to know that the gun violence in this nation is on them. Them and all who place the unobstructed right to own lethal weapons above our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
You are willing to let the constitutional right to safe abortion be abused by members of your party on the pretense of the sanctity of life, but by god, you refuse to protect the living from our country’s homegrown, gun toting terrorists. You refuse to even legislate for responsible gun ownership.
You cannot be pro life and anti gun control. Please stand up against gun violence the way you stood up against affordable health care and President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee.
