Hospital buys 20 computers

Hospital Commission Chair John House opened a special meeting the evening of April 9 to authorize purchase of computer hardware for the hospital to comply with Windows 10 upgrades by April 19.

Rotational integration was discussed to complete the upgrade without disturbing hospital operations.

A single purchase quote for 20 PCs was provided for an undisclosed amount which was emailed privately to commissioners. The purchase was unanimously approved.

  1. Editor, just to clarify, the purchase amount for the 20 computers was $6,980 ($349 each). There was no intention to keep this information hidden but apparently wasn’t mentioned directly on the recording. We are a public hospital and the money we manage is the public’s money.
    Thanks
