HDC OKs buildings’ demolition

The Historic District Commission needed only 10 minutes for the July 5 meeting, and an application for demolition of some outbuildings was approved.

Paul Johnson asked to remove six vacant structures at 302 Village Circle. The buildings had experienced significant water damage and Building Inspector Jacob Coburn had recommended demolition. The bare quorum of commissioners approved the proposal.

A training session for commissioners is scheduled from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. on July 19, prior to the regular HDC meeting at 6 p.m.
